For the past 24 years, Dr. Dean Ramus has helped patients throughout the Beverly Hills community get out of pain and live functional, happy, and healthy lives. He is passionate about helping others and is grateful that his purpose in life is one that allows him to make such a significant change in the lives of others.

Dr. Ramus graduated from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry in 1981. He completed his prosthodontic training in 1987 at the University of Alabama, and taught fixed and removable prosthodontics there from 1988-1993. Dr. Ramus is a board-certified prosthodontist, becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists in 1991.

Dr. Ramus became an Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry in 1993. He was Director of Removable Prosthodontics for the International Student Program and taught there from 1993-2000. While at USC, he received the Excellence in Teaching Award in 1997 and 1999.

Dr. Ramus maintains a full-time private practice in Beverly Hills, California, specializing in prosthodontics, cosmetics, and general dentistry. The practice is state of the art, equipped with digital technology. Dr. Ramus ensures his practice remains ahead of the curve by attending more than 100 hours of continuing education every year, participating in the Kois Center as a Clinical Instructor, and attending the Tucker Gold Study Club for cast gold and ceramic inlays and onlays.

Dr. Ramus is originally from the Los Angeles area. He and his wife Marlene, an author and academic, enjoy going on long walks, attending concerts, and traveling. Dr. Ramus also volunteers several days each year to Care Harbor, which provides free medical, dental, and vision care to the uninsured, underinsured, and underserved in the community.
